Where were you in 1989? We can tell you where we were, we just finished moving from New York to Provo, Utah. Missing our favorite New York city flavors and working our butt off. So inspired by a deep longing for the city, food and old friends we opened the first deli in Salt Lake City, Utah. With inspired recipes mixed with traditional New York Delicatessen flair and a ton of hard work we opened three more locations…then BAM!
In 2004, this genius idea rolled around in the head of Dan Pool after his first bite…bring this food and taste to everyone in America! Now in 13 states and growing Gandolfo’s brings the New York Deli experience into your hometown.
What makes Gandolfo’s different from the rest is we do things the deli way. We bake our own breads, fresh slice our own signature meats and cheeses, and make our deli salads fresh EVERY DAY. The meats are real meats, nothing pre-sliced or stuffed with fillers here. The bread isn’t loaded with preservatives, we bake in-house multiple times a day and our vegetables are sliced and prepared by hand. We have a first bite guarantee, if you’re not sold this is the best sandwich you have ever tasted after the first bite, then we’ll give you your money back. Period.
